Qing dynasty, 19th centuryThe chair with shaped top rail and pediment carved and pierced with a pair of dragons in clouds above a rectangular panel carved and pierced with a single confronting dragon in clouds over a solid seat with shaped front over carved and pierced aprons of fruit and vine design on cabriole supports with carved details and raised on ball and claw feet, 99cm high, 46cm wide, 46cm deep, together with a blackwood jardinière stand with octagonal top with rouge marble insert within a beaded edge over an apron carved and pierced with fruiting vine on four cabriole supports joined by a cross-stretcher and on claw feet, 60cm high, 36cm wide.
