Terracotta, ceramic Tibet, Nepal and other South-East Asian countries, 17th - 20th cent.A fine collection of 7 large Tsatsa with various religious subjects. Tsa-Tsas are miniature figures or altars with Buddhas and gods. They are produced for special occasions like, for example, birthdays or the visit of an important Buddhist figure, like that of a famous lama. They can be found lying as votive offerings at special places like, for example, in stupas or holy caves.Dimensions: Heights vary from 4.5 CM to 10 CM Condition: good original condition with usual traces of wear and age, one corner broken off but enclosed Provenance: Galerie Zacke archive
