GAU AMULET CONTAINER
Silver, brass, coralTibet, late 19th centuryBalanced, circular form, the size of which lends it an emblematic effect. The frontside is divided into three fields by finely ribbed hems, the outer field with closely packed, radial ribs like fence posts surrounding a temple. The middle field features cloud spirals, similar to the inner hem, which, however, could also be a lotus blossom. In the center is a piece of raised, yellow-red coral.
