A FIGURAL CULT BELL
BronzeNepal, possibly 19th centuryAn unusual bronze work with multiple sections, raised on a domed foot with jagged rim, on an elongated stand ending with a lantern-shaped element, the four edges of which are decorated with figures in a worshipping pose as well as birds; the roof of the lantern topped with a figure with a bell-shaped body and two heads, holding a trident and blades in its four hands; the figure pierced with a loop to attach a round decorative shade with metal ornaments.
