BronzeBurma, 18th century styleBuddha in lotus position, padmasana, on a smooth, flared, ergonomic pedestal. Aside from the powerfully formed facial features, the elevated right hand held in the gesture of guaranteeing protection, abhayamudra, dominates the sculpture. The other hand lies on his lap. Long samghati decorated with engraved lines. His face features large eyebrows and curved eyelids; his gaze is lowered. The locks of hair are small and pointed; the small ushnisha is capped off by a lotus bud.
