Color woodblock prints, mounted on cardboardJapan, first half of 20th centuryThese color woodblock prints designed by Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) are from the famous series Fugaku sanjurokkei (Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji) and comprise Inume Pass, Kōshū (no. 9); Ejiri in Suruga Province (no. 10); Tsukuda Island in Musashi Province (no. 29); and Shichiri beach in Sagami Province (no. 30).
