FOUR JAPANESE COLOR WOODBLOCK PRINTS, 1930s-1950s
Original color woodblock printJapan, 1930s to 1950sThese four modern Japanese woodblock prints include two prints by Tokuriki Tomikichiro (1902-2000); one of Tsurugaoka Hachimangū, the most important Shinto shrine in Kamakura, and the other of Mount Shiroyama in Kagoshima, overlooking the volcano Sakurajima. The other two prints are by Ono Bakufu (1888-1976), depicting a farmhouse at night, and Kasamatsu Shiro (1898-1991), depicting a rainy day in Suenaga.
