The group comprises: a pair of Japanese saucers decorated with flowers; a dish decorated with a cricket below chrysanthemum; a pair of ‘flower and butterfly’ dishes; and an iron-red and gilt-decorated blue and white ‘landscape’ dish, ‘ji’ seal mark to the base.
The saucers decorated with flowers: 12 cm. diam.
The ‘cricket and chrysanthemum’ dish: 19 cm. diam.
The ‘flower and butterfly’ dishes: 20.5 cm. diam.
The ‘landscape’ dish: 20.5 cm. diam.
Condition: The ‘cricket and chrysanthemum’ dish: there is a crack to the rim (approx. 5 cm. long).
The ‘landscape’ dish: a chip to the rim with an associated hairline (approx. 1 cm. long); frits
The other dishes: appear to be in overall good condition.
