The plates are each decorated with a scene of a crane flying above pavilions in a mountainous river landscape encircled by a spearhead border. The rim is decorated with a pomegranate-shaped band. The small blue and white octagonal teapot and cover is decorated with alternating double panels of elegant ladies at leisure and flower sprays. The angular spout and handle are each decorated with further flower sprays. The cover is decorated with panels of flowers and boys at play.

Condition: One plate:
With a crack across the base and some thin glaze cracks.
The other plate:
Appears to be in overall good condition.
The teapot and cover:
Both appear to be in overall good condition with chips and frits to the edges as expected.
