Oval form circled at intervals by engraved rings producing tiers. The effect of this “climbing” is accentuated by four vertical bars made up of rows of small, plastic waves. Four such, smaller, bars on the vaulted, pointed cap as well. This yaozhou-pottery has a green-gray glaze, although the foot and area leading up to the waved bars are unglazed with a yellowish biscuit.
