The scenes displayed on these two cylindrical brushpots are actually their mirror reflections. Both carved in high and low relief with scholars and pavilions, all set within a bamboo and pine tree setting. Two scholars playing Weiyi while others seem to observe the game carefully. The bamboo of a warm brown tone.
Dimensions: HEIGHT 18 CM, DIAMETER 15 CM
Condition: Good condition with some usual signs of aging like some cracks or small chips.
