Porcelain from Dehua depicting a fo-lion seated on a tall pedestal, as often seen in larger versions in China. The lion (shizi) has a large head and a fierce look, but amusing locks of hair falling in front of its face. On its collar are bells; one of its paw rests on an only half-formed ball.

Condition: Minor chips, otherwise well preserved
