LOT WITH THREE LARGE SILK BROCADE WEAVINGS, 1900-1920s
Silk with silver, gold and multi-colored silk threads

This group consists of three large silk brocade weavings, each with depiction of a mythical being. The red panel shows a dense pattern with stylized bats, framed by a meander and swastika border. The blue panel features confronting dragons pursuing the cosmic pearl and several auspicious objects. The black panel also has a dragon motif, this time as eight repeating square reserves with a dragon chasing the cosmic pearl portrayed in each of them.

Condition: Good condition with some stains and small holes to red panel as well as few loose threads to margins
