A NICE LOT OF TWO HIRADO CUPS AND SAUCERS AND A RARE MEISSEN CUP, 19TH CENTURY
Hirado and Meissen porcelain

This lot comprises two Japanese cups and saucers made from Hirado porcelain decorated with birds and flowers and showing six-character marks as well as a chinoiserie-style Meissen porcelain ‘Koppchen’ cup or bowl with a café au lait glaze and the characteristic sword mark.
Dimensions: HEIGHT HIRADO CUPS 5.5 CM, DIAMETER HIRADO CUPS 6.2 CM, DIAMETER SAUCERS 11.2 CM, HEIGHT MEISSEN CUP 4.5 CM, DIAMETER MEISSEN CUP 8 CM
Condition: Small chips on the rims and few tiny firing flaws, the Meissen cup shows one restored chip as well
