ANGKOR PERIOD KHMER LIDDED CERAMIC HARE VESSEL – 11th/12th CENTURY
Low-fired stoneware, covered with a brittle brown glaze
Khmer Empire, Angkor Period - 11th to 12th century
Fine vessel in shape of a hare with bulging eyes and a globular body. Opening with lid at the back and curved tail. Underside not glazed. Neatly incised diamond shaped decoration.
Dimensions: HEIGHT 8 CM, LENGTH 8 cm
Condition: Optical appearance very good, restoration to ears and tail
