A finely modeled head fragment of a Valdivia female Venus figure. Mounted on a pedestal.
The Valdivia culture established in Ecuador 3000 years before Christ, the figurines were simple and compact in style, perhaps the most individualizing aspect of these figurines are the elaborate hairstyles.
Dimensions: HEIGHT 4 CM
Condition: Original condition, a drilled hole to bottom for mount attachment.
