TL-test certificate no. 7279125, dated May 1988, by the Kotalla laboratory in Germany included
A good figural portrayal of a kneeling man, his hands held behind his back as if he is a captive. A vertical spout extends from the mans back and a curved flat handle connects the spout to the back head. There is some evidence remaining for a dark paint, especially in the form of facial details.

Condition: Optical appearance good, restorations to exposed areas
Provenance: Formerly part of the Lüders Collection (Germany), then property of Galerie Alt-Amerika in 1990
