Description: BALKAN NEOLITHIC MASK OF A MOURNER
5th-4th Millennium BC
Baked terracotta, the face turned slightly upwards, with an arched brow, large elliptical eyes, long nose and short incised mouth, with three vertical strokes of pigment on the left cheek, raised on a wooden mount.
H: 5.1, W: 4.5 in. (mounted).
