佚名 山水 設色絹本 手卷 十七/十八世紀Provenance:A Northern Private California Private CollectorThe inscription on the scroll references Zhao Boxiao (Zhao Bosu, 1124-1182), the younger brother of Zhao Boju (d. 1162) who was known for augmenting the Sui and Tang dynasty tradition of blue-green landscape painting with jinbi shanshui 金碧山水 (gold blue-green landscape) painting. The brothers were direct descendants of the first Song emperor, and both painted in the Song imperial academy.
