The first is a pear-shaped vase with a flaring rim, the neck is decorated with two s-shaped handles emanating from a qilin head. The bronze of a rich patina. The second is a hu vase decorated to the neck with two loose ring beast-head handles, the midsection is decorated with a confronting kui dragon band suspending four evenly spaced cicada lappets.
The pear-shaped vase: 17.5 cm. high
The hu vase: 15.5 cm. high

Condition: The pear-shaped vase:
There is a hole to the bronze at the neck (approx. 0.5 cm.), with some old repair in the area.
The hu vase:
There are small patches of encrustation.
There is an small old repair to the foot.
Both:
Minor dents and wear.
