The teapot is of melon form and the body is decorated with evenly-spaced lobes decorated with incised lotus. The spout is encircled by a delicately incised foliate panel decorated with floral scrolls.
Provenance: a European private collection.
Condition: There are chips to the cover, the finial has been restuck, with traces of overpainting.
The teapot has chips to the foot and the spout, with traces of overpainting, there are frits to the edges, there is a crack from the rim which extends to the body next to the handle.
