A section from a longer weaving, the fragment is woven various vibrant threads to depict an upper register of long-tailed phoenix alternating with a flower head. The main register depicts Buddhist lions clutching in its mouth the ribbon of a brocade ball, amongst cloud scrolls, all above a band of parasols.

Condition: Overall good condition, the colours are well preserved.
