The vessel stands on four beast-head feet, and is affixed with two upright handles. The sides decorated with raised flanges, and the body decorated with taotie masks surrounded by archaistic scrolls. The neck and cover are decorated with lotus scrolls and the cover is surmounted by a pale celadon jade Buddhist lion finial set into a gilt bronze lotus cartouche. The base with a Qianlong mark.
Condition: Small crackles and losses to the enamels.
Wear and small dents to the bronze.
There are small patches of verdigris to one leg.
