The vase is decorated with two c-shaped blue-enamelled handles to the neck, the body is decorated with interlocking qilin amongst densely scrolling lotus, between a ruyi-head band to the rim and a petal lappet border with a key fret band to the foot. The interior and base are glazed turquoise with an apocryphal Daoguang mark.
Condition: There is wear to the enamels.
A small area of retouch to the enamels by a qilin.
