Stunning Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Douqing Glazed Porcelain Squared Zun Vase. Angular body that bulges outward rising toward a wide shoulder and slender neckline that open with a flared rim. Splayed square foot base supporting the whole piece. The center outer shell carved with intricate depiction of a lotus flowers blooms with scrolling vines inside a shaped cartouche. A floral ribbon adorns the neck above the numerous flower that sprays through out the body. Ru-Yi pattern banded on the upper edge shoulder and geometrical pattern on the foot. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed smooth pale-creme unglazed ground foot rim and dark-grayish firing marks, with the slightly receded central base remain white under glaze.
The underside bear a reign mark, a six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, Made in The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty. Measurements: Height: 10" Width: 4 3/4" Depth: 4 3/4"
