Stunning Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong famille rose Daji (rooster) porcelain rouleau vase. A tall cylindrically shaped vase, tubular body, wider on the angled shoulder, gently tapered toward the long straight neck forming into a flared rim, raised upon a concave footed base. The exterior delicately decorated in famille rose pastel color hand painting, with a group of roosters upon big and rough boulders against garden landscape. Referred as Rooster on Rock, Shishang Daji, May there e good fortune inside the home. Gilt ribbon banded on the edge shoulder. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman. The glaze terminates above the foot, revealed smooth pale-creme unglazed ground foot rim and dark-grayish firing marks, with the slightly receded central base remain white under glaze.
