Chinese Qing Dynasty Blue and White Glaze porcelain brush washer. Finely potted in a globular shape, shallow basin circumscribed with a curvaceous wall of porcelain, supported the wide gallery opening, with rounded shoulder gently tapered toward the flat base. The exterior decorated in blue against clean white underglaze with arrays of flower bouquets. Banded with wavy cresting Lishui water motif on the upper rim and foot base. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant finish that was applied by a meticulous glaze craftsman. The bowl displayed upon a carved hardwood tall stand.
The under base bear a reign mark, a vertical six under-glazed blue seal script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine rings, Made in The Years of Yong Zheng Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty. Measurements: Height: 5 7/8" Diameter: 8 3/4" Stand Height: 4" Diameter: 7 1/4"
