Description: PAIR OF CERAMIC BALUSTER VASES AND COVERS Berlin, early 19th century Circular section with rounded shoulders, cylindrical neck surmountend by a domed cover with a large finial shaped as a rooster, the whole external surface painted in polychromy and gold on a red ground with chinese figures in the landscape and flowered branches, a Kangxi-style mark consisting in a lozenge inside concentric circles to the centre of the base of both.
