Native American Tlinget tribe chief's raven rattle. This rattle features opal and other precious stones inlaid. Signed Iketut Rinu. A standard accoutrement of a north coast chief was a pair of Raven rattles. The basic form is that of the Raven holding a small object in its beak, in reference to the Raven's bringing sunlight to mankind.
