CHINESE CARVED ZITAN DRESSING CASES, GUANPIXIANG A beautiful domed chest. The top opens to a tray for storing jewelry. The panel doors open too revel five additional drawers. The box is mounted with ruyi -shaped fittings, a cloud-shaped lock plate, vase-shaped pulls and flanked by a pair of U-shaped handles, all in huangtong brass. The panels wealthy decorated with intrigue carving of dragons between fumes clouds and flames. The zitan wood shows density with lustrous patina and fine grain. Dimension: 15-1/4" H x 15-1/8" W x 10-7/8" D
