Fine Chinese Celadon of GuanYin figure. Hands in Dhayana Mudra gesture of balance meditation. Seated upon a by a square pedestal, the front side of which is decorated with some archaic images. The figure is backed by arched petal-shaped aureole decorated with auspicious floral and clouds motifs, a peacock perched on the top right. Two humble fellows guarded the throne. Floral bouquet offered upon the floor base. The GuanYin face, hands, peacock, followers face and flowers offering were left unglazed. The underside left unglazed, with burnt orange in the firing. Dimension: 15-1/2" H x 9" W
