VERY FINE MING Dynasty, WanLi Period Chinese Blue and White Dragon and Phoenix Porcelain Plate, With a shallow rim, the center interior decorated in hand painted of imperial dragons and a phoenix in harmony surrounded by dense of scrolling lotus tendrils, Similar design encircled the center body on rim and exterior. The underside left white under glazed. Well displayed on carved hardwood stand. Mark on the base shows six blue scripts -KaiShu- Character, enclosed by double blue rings, WanLi Reign Period of Great Ming. Dimension: 1-7/8" H x 11-1/2" Diam.
