Chinese 10th C or Later . (Late Tang Dynasty or Early North Song Dynasty) gilt bronze Buddha, The figure is seated at royal ease position, the right leg carrying the weight with bend knee symbolized the bow; the other leg pulled up against the body, symbolized the arrow. of Bodhisattva Buddha figure, Serene face amidst intricate ornate headdress, elongated ears with floral earrings. Wearing elaborately dressed adored with floral details jewelries. Hands are level with heart in Dharmacakra Mudra gesture of teaching, Wheel of Law. Shows extensive trace of gilt. Dimension: 8-1/8" H
