Chinese, probably Qianlong period, very finely carved pale celadon panel depicting group of elderly sages in various pursuits within dense of shading trees behind rockworks within mountainous landscape. Verso with finely carved gold of elderly sages within waterside landscape, set onto an elegantly carved hardwood stand in shape of a Kirin, seated on its four legs, with head facing upward, scrolling clouds emerged from the mouth supported the round jade table screen. The plaque is in excellent condition. The carving is magnificent with clean even tone pale-celadon iridescent and moist milky appearance. Dimension (on stand): 14-7/8" H x 7-1/4" W Dimension (Jade): 197.99mm Diam. Weight (Jade): 476.1 grams
