Fine Carved Chinese White Jade Tripod censer. Smooth and finely carved white jade of tapered globular shaped body, domed lids, with flower finial bud. Main body decorated with shallow relief of rococo night lotus blossom and scrolling foliage, enlonged S-shaped handles emerged on lower body to the shoulder, giving the handles a broad presence. Three cabriole legs elegantly support the body. Displayed on a carved hardwood base. The nephrite jade shows smooth surfaces, with milky moist appearance, beautiful translucent with even tone pale celadon iridescent and grayish lines of natural inclusions. Dimension (on stand): 158.24mm H x 190.25mm W Weight (Jade): 637.20 grams
