A pair of underglaze-blue and doucai enamelled bowls
Probably 18th centuryOf flaring form with counter sunk unglazed feet, each with a continuous scene depicting two seated scholars in a pavilion garden, one reclining against a bundle of scrolls, a boy in attendance, the interior with an apocryphal Yongle four-character mark within bands of flowerheads on whorl pattern grounds. 10.5cm (4.1/8in) diam.
