A carved celadon-glazed 'lotus' vase, ganlanping
Chenghua four-character mark, 18th centuryOf 'olive stone' form, finely carved in relief with a scrolling lotus meander between bands of lappets at the foot and mouth rims, covered in a thick Longquan-style glaze of a pea-green colour, thinning to a paler hue at the edges of the moulded design, wood stand and fitted early 20th century wood box. 35cm (13 3/4in) high (3).
