Meiji PeriodContaining a gilt lacquered wood figure of Amida Buddha on a lotus pedestal, set on a multi-tiered stand, and backed by a kohai (nimbus), the interior of the doors gilded and painted with images of Kannon floating upon wispy clouds. 35.5cm (14in) high.
