Mid Qing DynastyMasterfully carved and well hollowed as a double-gourd vase resting on a rocky base, two boys with jovial expressions carved around the exterior, one kneeling to receive the other descending on ruyi-head clouds and carrying long sprigs of lotus blossoms and stems curling around the vase carved with a further four bats, the lid carved with a curling stem, the softly-polished stone of an even white tone, wood stand. 17cm (6 5/8in) high.
