Good natural patina.Provenance: From a British private collection.Condition: Outstanding condition with very little wear, tiny casting flaws, some of the inlaid turquoises and the miniature vessel are lost, unsealed.Weight: 653.2 grams.Dimensions: Height 14.5 cm.Amitayus, the Celestial Buddha of Infinite Life, is seated in dhyanasana with his hands held in dhyana mudra and in place to support a miniature vessel containing the elixir of longevity. Wearing turquoise inlaid jewelry. The hair is pulled up into a tall topknot behind a five-pointed crown and falls down along the shoulders.
