DESCRIPTION: An antique French cut crystal lidded box with gilt bronze mounts jewelry box. The cut crystal finished in an elaborate pattern of diamond point cuts and deep x-shaped mitre cuts. The underside of the piece is accented by a large deeply cut starburst. The box has gilt mounts decorated with an embossed foliate pattern and is finished with a decorative leaf clasp at the front.
