Late 19th century, in the "Louis XVI Acanthus" pattern, the handle terminals featuring an acanthus leaf and foliate?motif. All bear a scripted monogram. Comprising a pair of small round ladles, with a gilt washed bowl, 5 7/8in L; a sugar tongs with paw form claws, a pierced serving spoon or powder sugar spoon with a gilt washed bowl, and a serving spoon with a scallop shaped bowl, 8.5in L. All contained in the original leather box with a silk and velvet fitted interior. Total approx. silver weight 9 Troy oz.Condition: The small ladles having some bruising to the bowls, otherwise in good condition for age.
