Attractively illustrated with etchings & engravings by i.a. Salomon Savery (1594-1683) & Pieter Nolpe (1613-1652) after i.a. Claes Moeyaert (ca. 1592-1655) & Simon de Vlieger (ca. 1601-1653) comprising i.a. a panoramic view of Amsterdam from the river Y (by S. Savery after J. Martszen de Jonge, ca. 29 x 64 cm.) & 2 views of Amsterdam from the river Amstel (both by S. Savery after S. de Vlieger, both ca. 29 x 39 cm.). ? Lacks 2 allegorical engravings (of Gallia) after Nicolaes Moeyaert & 1 final blank leaf. Small dam. spot on backstrip, both covers sl. stained/ soiled.
