Of traditional ovoid form, the spout of compressed circular shape and the rim with a floral collar, the decoration of the body divided in three main registers, the top and bottom ornate with oval roundels filled with floral bloom and interspersed with blossoming bouquets and vegetal festoons framed by two bands of scrolling vine tendrils with grape, the gilt decoration appliqued and painted with green, red and turquoise enamels, the whole composition against a vibrant dark blue-enamelled ground, the silver ground worked with knurling in a similar fashion to French guilloche enamels, the central register of the body with spiky claws, gilt and enamelled, approximately 23cm high. * Please note that this lot is subject to import VAT at a preferential rate of 5% on the Hammer Price and the prevailing rate on the Buyer’s Premium.Notes: Islamic & Indian Art
