Comprising a hemispherical helmet, with its original mail, a pointy spike as finial, two aigrette holders to the front separated by a central long nose-guard, the engraved exterior decorated with vegetal cartouches filled with floral sprays, the base with epigraphic cartouches, 20.5cm diam.; a large circular shield, four central bosses with floral collars, the engraved exterior with floral sprays and vegetal scrollwork, the band around the rim and the very central medallion with epigraphic cartouches, the back plain and with original handle, 53.4cm diam.; and an arm-guard with its original strap, the decoration with rosettes within vegetal rhomboidal cartouches, 33.5cm long.Notes: Islamic & Indian Art
