Comprising a Kashmiri lacquered pen case, polychrome painted and heightened with gold, with rounded ends and sliding tray, the top and sides painted with horizontal composition of boteh?and polylobed medallions filled with floral triumph, gold trellis and floral tendrils filling the rest of the composition against either blue or gold ground,?the internal tray and the underside with gold scrollwork and vegetal motifs on blue and green ground, 21cm long; and a Qajar-style lacquered pen case, polychrome painted and heightened with gold, the horizontal composition of top and sides with the typical gul-o-bulbul motif, the underside and internal tray with gold fretwork against brown ground, 22cm long.Notes: Islamic & Indian Art
