元/ 明 銅仿古雙獸耳供瓶11 cm. (28 cm.) high, inscribed Japanese wood box
The intricate interlocking pattern of stylised dragons to the body can be seen on a Song-Yuan dynasty bronze arrow vasefrom the Ulrich Hausmann collection sold at Sotheby’s Hong Kong, 8 October 2014, lot 3384. The form of the beast-head handlesresembles very closely to lot 3302 from the same sale, which is of corresponding date to the present lot.
