A PAIR OF CHINESE CARVED HORN AND HARDSTONES MOUNTED HARDWOOD SCROLL WEIGHTS, EARLY 20TH CENTURY, each of long rectangular form and a cushion rounded top, centering two contesting five claw dragons with fierce roaring expressions, flanking a flaming red jasper sphere amidst stylized red jasper clouds above a carved horn rolling waves pendant and sides inlaid with archaistic style silver wire fretwork alternating taotie masks, length: 15 3/4", depth: 1.75". Condition: Each is in good condition with normal surface buildup in crevices throughout, a few tiny chips, silver wire inlay is tarnished and loose in areas.
