Description: Set of 4 West African masks. a) white speckled oval, with forehead bisected by blue, raised grid. Dark stained hair , brow and nose (one piece), and lips. Hair divided into three sections, middle smooth, left and right with lines to show grain. Chin in lighter shade of brown. Almond holes for eyes. b) White face with blue chin and dark, white-striped lower cheek, nose, eyes, lips, and hair. Forehead bisected by raised rectangle pattern, hair divided into four sections. Slit eyes and large, bow-top mouth. c) Dark stained Senufo-style wooden mask, pink and white accent paint on crest, mouth, eyebrows, cheeks. Triple bird crest with outstretched wings, as well as cubic carved decoration throughout. d) Carved wooden Senufo-style mask, with single, pecking bird, no painted accents. Mouth is flat and carved as rectangle, showing two rows of teeth.
