Description: Carved stone figure of a Hindu deity and two wood blocks for printing on fabric; a) female Hindu deity with four arms, possibly goddess Lakshmi, one hand raised in the abhaya mudra for fearlessness; the two raised back hands are six-fingered, with the thumb and three fingers pointing up while the two smallest figners are folded down; b) two carved wooden blocks for printing calico or chintz fabric, one with a kashmir or paisley pattern and the other with a figural motif. Dimensions are: a) statue - 14 inches high X 7 1/2 inches long X 3 1/2 inches wide, wooden base - 6 7/8 inches X 5 5/8 inches X 4 5/8 inches; b) larger - 7 inches long X 5 7/8 inches wide.
